COVID 19 Citizen Science activities

WP4 C2 Building the registry of private foundations and non-governmental institutions funding research

Since the coronavirus pandemic appeared in the last year of the project, when the planned activities were aimed at stronger involvement of the society in scientific research, the team members adjusted the goals to the new situation. The first reading science project, which involved more than 1,500 participants, was conducted to monitor people's reactions to the coronavirus pandemic on a daily basis. The results of this citizen science research conducted by the BEOPEN members team were published in an open approach, in Frontiers in Psychology (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpsyg.2020.02133/full). A webpage dedicated to citizen science has been created on the website of the Center for Behavioral Genetics (http://www.cbg.ff.uns.ac.rs/volonterska_nauka.php text in Serbian).
