Open Access is one of the preconditions in order to improve the transparency and visibility of research outputs, especially in social sciences. The National Open Science Platform requires from all researchers must deposit the results of their scientific research in institutional repositories. Open Science also refers to Open Data, preregistration of research studies, and many other processes that will change the classical paradigm of science. Transparency and openness in solving societal challenges should be the main mission of universities and scientific institutions.
