A two-day conference National Open Science Days was organised in Belgrade on October 18-19, 2018 within the Erasmus+ project Boosting Engagement of Serbian Universities in Open Science, with the support of the H2020 OpenAIRE project. The aim of the Conference was to introduce to researchers from Serbia the principles of open science and current initiatives and requirements in this area, especially in the context of projects funded by the European Commission. Invited foreign speakers presented successful examples of the application of open science in the European Union. Also, visitors were able to get acquainted with the current situation of open science in Serbia, especially with the recently adopted Open Science Platform and the activities related to the development of the Portal open science and the National Repository of Scientific Publications.
