University of Novi Sad, the coordinator of Erasmus+ Boosting Engagement of Serbian Universities in Open Science (BE-OPEN) project, organized the Final Conference with all partner institutions on April 14, 2020. The Final Conference was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Professor Stevan Stankovski, vice-rector for research of the University of Novi Sad, and professor Snežana Smederevac, coordinator of BE-OPEN project, opened the conference. In the first part of the conference, representative from all partner institutions presented achieved results within the BE-OPEN project.
During the second part of the conference, guest lecturers were invited: professor Miroslav Trajanović, University of Niš, presented OpenClick, Mirjana Utvić, Center for Promotion of Science, talked about Citizen Science in Serbia, and Biljana Kosanović, on behalf of professor Vladimir Crnojević, BioSense Institute, Univeristy of Novi Sad, gave a presentation about the current status and future plans for Serbia in the European Open Science Cloud intitiative.
