Open Data Day is a global annual celebration of Open Data which will take place on Saturday, March 3rd 2018. It is an excellent opportunity for the academic and research community to learn about the benefits of Open Data and encourage the adoption of Open Science principles.

Open Data Day 2018 will focus on four key areas:

- Open Research Data

- Tracking Public Money Flows

- Open Mapping

- Data for Equal Development

We invite all interested participants to take part in the Open Data Day 2018 if they have an idea for using open data, want to find an interesting project to contribute towards or learn more about the principles of Open Science.
